Zimbabwe is among 79 countries participating in the 10th anniversary of the Miss Global competition, currently underway in Cambodia. The race for the coveted Miss Global crown is intense, with organizers announcing the top 25 countries leading the fan vote, from which 13 will automatically qualify for the semi-finals. However, Kudzai Matizha, representing Zimbabwe, is currently lagging in this critical voting process.

Despite her best efforts, Matizha’s position in the competition is uncertain, and her fans are urged to vote and help her secure a spot in the semi-finals. The 21-year-old beauty queen is not only representing herself but also her country in this high-stakes competition.

The Miss Global preliminary competition is scheduled for January 13, where the reigning queen, Shane Tormes of the Philippines, will hand over the crown. Zimbabweans are encouraged to cast their votes online to boost Matizha’s chances of success in the competition.
