Mudiwa Hood pledges to pay DJ Ollah to keep Kapfupi divorce off air for children’s sake

Zimbabwean hip-hop star and entrepreneur Mudiwa Hood has made an emotional public appeal to DJ Ollah, urging him to take down a recently aired interview on YouTube and Facebook with Mai Ngaa real name Precious Kabrito , the estranged wife of comedian Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima, amid their divorce drama.

Kapfupi & Mai Nga – Cherishing moments and happy times together

In a Facebook post, Mudiwa offered to compensate for any lost revenue from the interview, stressing that the emotional damage to the couple’s children far outweighed any monetisation benefits.

“I am willing to pay for the maximum monetisation opportunity lost on Kapfupi and Mai Ngaa interviews.
“Keep them off air, their kids will never recover from this mentally. Divorce will make you angry and vulnerable. Ndokumbirawo,” he said.

Mudiwa’s plea followed Mai Ngaa’s interview with DJ Ollah earlier yesterday, during which she revealed deeply personal and sensitive details about Kapfupi.

Among the claims made, Mai Ngaa alleged that Kapfupi was a slave to alcohol and once engaged in shocking behaviour, She claimed the comedian ate a baby’s stool.
“He went and lifted the kids’ pot… he took the poo of the kid using his hand and ate it,” said Mai Ngaa.

The nature of the revelations reportedly prompted Mudiwa Hood to intervene, feeling the public exchange had crossed a line and risked causing lasting harm, particularly to the children.

The interview came amid circulating videos in which Kapfupi alleges that his wife of 20 years, Mai Ngaa, left their matrimonial home with their four children—Loice, Stella, Freddie Junior and Bea—to live with a new partner identified by Kapfupi as Tonderai, a claim that Mai Ngaa dismissed, saying her new partner’s name is not Tonderai.

Kapfupi claims he was asleep when the departure occurred and alleges his wife had concealed the man’s identity by saving his contact under a female name.

What began as private marital discord has since escalated into a public war of words, drawing intense attention on social media.

Mudiwa Hood underscored that Kapfupi is vulnerable at the moment and needs help privately not interviews, which Ollah had already arranged to hear the victims’ side of the story.

In response to the plea, Dj Ollah stressed that it was actually Mai Ngaa’s idea to clear out the air and protect her public image citing that she had already moved on since March this year.

Mudiwa Hood’s intervention has been widely praised as a call for restraint, compassion and the protection of children from the damaging effects of publicised family conflict.
