Saintfloew asked for 5k to do a collaboration

Rising Zimbabwean Hip Hop artist Bagga, who gained prominence in 2023, recently made a surprising revelation about Saintfloew on his Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts.

During a series of “ask me a question” on Instagram, a fan inquired about a potential collaboration between Bagga and Saintfloew.

In response, Bagga revealed that he was quoted $5000 for the collaboration.

He then took the conversation to X (formerly Twitter) to further discuss the matter.

“Takanzi toda 5Gida (5K) for 16 bars. Tikati nhai mamonya eTea richiri verse here ramukutengesa or yave stand!! I have a dream for the Culture to grow to a point we have young people seeing zim hiphop as a viable career if you have the gift, to take care of our families. Hande!!” posted Bagga.

Bagga’s decision may have repercussions on his image within the music community. While some may applaud his stand against what he deemed an exorbitant price, others might question the impact on potential collaborations in the future.

Some of his followers feel the musician didn’t need to go public with the figure his mate charged him.

However, other people felt Saintfloew was charging a ridiculous price for a collab with an upcoming musician.
