Stacy Tendai Macheso, daughter to the sungura maestro Alick Macheso, said she is ready to release her very first album titled ‘Bitter Sweet’ on a date yet to be announced.
This comes at a time when the rising songstress had released tracks like Ingozi and Amai, a track that she dedicated to all mothers.
Posting on her social media accounts Stacy expressed her gratitude to the fans for their patience and emphasized that the album’s title is a representation of the ups and downs encountered throughout life’s journey.
“Thank you for the patience as we prepared the long awaited Stacey Macheso debut album.
“Because life is a curve ball with high and lows, we have aptly named the album ‘Bitter Sweet’ and the hope is that it relates with all of you as you navigate your journey on mother earth. All mastering is done and we are finalising the release date logistics,” she said.
Alick Macheso, who is also Stacy’s father, took to social media to share words of encouragement and express his unwavering support for his daughter.
“Pakatsika remberi ndopakatsika reshure. New album loading from Stacy Macheso varungu ndimi, maboss ndimi,” he said.
