CCTV Footage Of AKA’s Assassination Released

CCTV footage of AKA’s murder in Durban has begun to circulate. The rapper can be seen chatting to and hugging his friend and former manager Tibz in the footage before they are both fatally murdered a short while later.
The footage backs up police reports that “Information at police’s disposal at this stage indicates that the men were walking towards their vehicle from a restaurant when they were allegedly approached by two armed suspects who walked to them from across the street and shot the victims at close range.” According to reports, the suspects left the area on foot.

Additionally, according to the police, “Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still looking into the incident, which has an undetermined motive. As evidenced by the footage, which shows AKA visibly falling and immediately bleeding.
