THE Minister of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services Jenfan Muswere has said Zimbabwean government is investigating, clearance, non-clearance classification, banning and licencing of new alcoholic drinks.
This was revealed by minister Muswere in a post cabinet media briefing this Tuesday.
“The nation is advised that the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the Zimbabwe Republic Police and the Liquor Licencing Board are working together on the investigations, clearance, non-clearance classification, banning and licencing of new alcoholic drinks in the market, including the Kambucha drink beverage,” he said.
Kambucha is classified as a herbal drink, aphrodisiac, energy drink or supplementary food but there have been growing concerns amongst citizens as many are saying it has alcohol content, and many are believed to be abusing it.
