There’s Hope
1 min read
bruises and booze
drug abuse and unprotected sex,
what effects? this is the flex
she’s fine and break necks,
as they try to see her behind
that has made me blind
she’s the kind I like,
I’ve opined, she’s been on my mind now I’m glad she’s in my arms.
tonight I’ll ignite the fire in my body
to compete in the horizontal gymnastics but damn I wish I knew that these plastics were not strong either
like a frosted leaf I wither
each passing day I grow thinner
inner peace ceased to exist
the breath in me is hunting for an exit
maybe this ROPE will do, but no there’s still HOPE
