Reggae enthusiasts in Zimbabwe are gearing up for a musical treat as the iconic Burning Spear prepares to headline the One People Africa Tour at Glamis Arena on October 18, 2024.

Winston Rodney, aka Burning Spear, is a reggae music icon and a two-time Grammy Award winner. With a career spanning over five decades.

The legendary singer, known for his powerful voice and socially conscious lyrics, is set to captivate audiences with his timeless hits.

According to the local Show Organisers, Friends of Jamaica who are working hand in hand with Sound System Club, Burning Spear and his band will jet into Zimbabwe this Wednesday.

Burning Spear’s arrival in Zimbabwe this Wednesday will be marked by a press conference and a series of media engagements.

He is also expected to visit some of the Rasta Communities in the High Density Suburbs as well as meeting some of his fans.

Bennet also said Burning Spear tickets are selling fast and they are almost sold out and urged reggae fans to buy their tickets in time and avoid the last minute rush.

The event promises to be a memorable experience, featuring not only Burning Spear but also local support acts like Killer T, Transit Crew, Mannex Motsi, and Feli Nandi.

As part of his One People Africa Tour, Burning Spear will also be performing in other African countries, including South Africa; Lusaka, Zambia; Lilongwe, Malawi; and Nairobi, Kenya.
