Even though the second season of the show had strong viewer ratings, it was canceled last year.
Fans of the Netflix series Warrior Nun have purchased a billboard outside the company’s Los Angeles headquarters to request a third season.
Warrior Nun was abruptly canceled by Netflix last month, only days after the second season’s premiere, despite supposedly having the greatest audience numbers ever for a Netflix program.
Since the cancellation, Netflix has been urged to change their mind by supporters. A petition with over 100,000 signatures urging the streamer to order a third season of Warrior Nun has been signed, and the hashtags #SaveWarriorNun and #NetflixCorrectYourMistake are frequently trending on Twitter.

Warrior Nun supporters have now taken the effort to the next level by renting a billboard on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and pleading with Netflix to save the program. The billboard is placed in front of the Netflix LA offices to make its argument very clear.
Surprise!!!! We did it! We have an AWESOME billboard that was put up today! Fun fact about the board, it’s in Netflix’s front yard. @netflix execs and employees will see this for 4 straight weeks. #SaveWarriorNun #WarriorNun pic.twitter.com/kB1O0I9yVZ

Through a crowdsourcing initiative, supporters raised almost £28,000 to purchase the billboard in an effort to perhaps save Warrior Nun.
Showrunner for Warrior Nun Simon Barry commented on the billboard, “Incredible. I’m in awe and extremely amazed. You guys are top notch!

Based on Ben Dunn’s comic book series, Warrior Nun tells the story of Ava Silva (Alba Baptista), who finds herself a member of an ancient order tasked with battling demons on Earth after awakening in a morgue with a sacred item in her back.
Barry stated in a post announcing the cancellation, “I’ve just learned that Netflix won’t be renewing Warrior Nun – my heartfelt appreciation to all the fans who worked so hard to promote this series, and for the love you showed me, the cast, and the whole production team. To be a part of this was an honor.
Barry said when asked if a different network could be able to preserve the program: “We are looking into this. If there is a way to move the show somewhere else, we will investigate it. I’ll update everyone. #SaveWarriorNun.”
Baptista posted on Twitter about the cancellation and said: “Working on Warrior Nun was a very meaningful chapter of my life. The performers and crew are to be commended for contributing everything they had. We appreciate the love and support of our fans.
I adore you, I see you. Everything was for you. I will always be grateful.
