Selmor Mtukudzi snubbed at late Father’s music festival.

The highly anticipated Oliver Mtukudzi International Festival of the Arts, a tribute to the late Zimbabwean National Hero and legendary musician, has been marred by controversy due to the exclusion of Mtukudzi’s daughter, Selmor, from the lineup.

Despite the festival being dedicated to her father, Selmor’s name is notably absent from the list of performers.

Scheduled to take place from September 21st to 22nd at Pakare Paye, the festival features a diverse array of local and international artists. However, Selmor’s absence has sparked significant backlash from fans and critics.

In response to the public outcry, Selmor took to social media to clarify that she had received a late invitation from the festival organizers. While the reason for her initial exclusion remains unclear.
