The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) has announced the appointment of Scarlet Studios in partnership with Events Evolution as the new event managers for the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) for the 2026 to 2030 tenure.

This prestigious awards ceremony, established to celebrate artistic excellence and honor outstanding achievements in various categories of art, will now be managed by the newly appointed event managers.

According to the press release dated May 20, 2025, the decision to appoint Scarlet Studios and Events Evolution was made through a robust selection process.

NACZ called for applications from event management companies, and after a thorough scrutiny by the NACZ Board, Scarlet Studios and Events Evolution emerged as the top choice. Their pitch presentation showcased their extensive skills, technical capacity, and experience, making them the ideal partners to produce the expected NAMA standard.

NACZ is confident that Scarlet Studios and Events Evolution will bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to NAMA, ensuring that the event continues to exceed expectations and deliver an exceptional experience for attendees, nominees, and winners.

The new event managers will work closely with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe to achieve this goal.

The appointment is for a five-year term, ending in 2030, and the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe encourages all NAMA stakeholders to embrace and give their full support to Scarlet Studios and Events Evolution during their tenure.
