Multi award winning Zimbabwean artist Lindsay Chamangurangura whose real name is Mildred Munyikwa, is set to perform at the Lake of Stars Malawi Arts Festival from September 6 to 8, 2024.

The organizers of the event officially announced on their Facebook page that the acclaimed artist Lindsay will be part of this year’s lineup.

This iconic cultural event marks its 20th anniversary and Malawi’s 60th independence anniversary, featuring talented artists from Malawi and worldwide at the Fish Eagle Bay Lodge, Lake Malawi.

Lindsay who’s also know as the lyrical guru started singing at the tender age of six as a member of the Apostolic Faith Mission church choir. She recorded her first song Ukamuzembera on the Chillslam riddim which was produced by PTK and Levels.

Posting on her Facebook account Lindsay showed her excitement being part of the lineup.

Lindsay also indicated that she will release a new album titled Chiga neChirevo.

Lindsay has also released numerous solo songs and collaborated with artists both locally and internationally. Lindsay has won various music awards and performed at major festivals.
