In a surprising turn of events, renowned Zimbabwean artists Takesure Zamar Ncube and Annatoria have announced their withdrawal from the highly anticipated Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin tour scheduled to take place in Southern Africa.

The tour, dubbed the “Kingdom World Tour,” was set to make a stop at the Glamis Arena in Zimbabwe on August 12th.

In separate social media posts, the artists cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for their withdrawal from the tour. Ncube, the leader of the Worship Addicts, expressed his regret, “Due to unforeseen circumstances Takesure Zamar Ncube and the Worship Addicts will no longer participate in the upcoming Maverick City tour to Zimbabwe as earlier advertised.”

Similarly, Annatoria took to her platforms to share the news, “Hey Family, I’m so sorry to announce, your home girl won’t be on the Kingdom Tour as planned. I was looking forward to meeting so many of you, and I hope I will one day. But I’m so sorry y’all, and I love you all! God bless,” She said.

The decision by these two prominent Zimbabwean artists has sparked conversations on social media, with fans and industry observers speculating about the reasons behind their withdrawal.

Despite the disappointment, the Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin tour is still scheduled to proceed.
