Zimbabwean artist Kayflow delivered on his promise with his latest release, Nyamadrive EP. After a stellar performance at the recently held Shoko Festival Mash Up Night, Kayflow decided to give his fans and music lovers something. The 5 track project features Nutty O and Takura, with production done mainly by Nasper Incoming. The EP showcases his unique blend of hip-hop and Afrobeat influences. A mixed bag something for party animals, and something to listen whilst you are deep in thoughts.

Track-by-Track Breakdown

1. Gede (ft. Takura) 

The opening track sets the tone with a party vibe. Featuring Takura, Mr Okay, did bring he’s A game. Takura never dissapoints and on Gede he did justice, an upbeat anthem that invites listeners to dance. Its catchy hooks and lively rhythm makes it a perfect track for whining and dancing.

2. VIP Kana Mbombera

This song continues the party atmosphere with its energetic beats and engaging lyrics. One you will hear many djs in clubs playing, this might be a club banger.

3. Musi Watamuka (ft. Nutty O )

Another party song, Kayflow proved that he’s the next big thing in the music industry, managing to also pull a collabo with Nutty O and he did deliver.

4. Vana Vepasi  

This track dives deeper into emotional territory while maintaining an upbeat tempo. Kayflow’s second verse as man seeks protection for his offspring from the clutches of the enemy. Vana Vepasi resonates with listeners as we all wait for the time to depart this earth.

5. Tariro

A departure from the high-energy tracks. Tariro brings a gospel influence that speaks to hope amidst struggle. A track pleading to God to intervene. This song evokes a sense of introspection, encouraging listeners to reflect on their challenges while holding onto hope. It might be a ghetto anthem for many ghetto youths as they will resonate with the message. It is every ghetto youths prayer that one day all will be well.

Nyamadrive EP is a solid project from Kayflow, one you can listen to without skipping a track.

Kayflow’s EP also features productions from renowned producers Nasper Incoming and DJ Tamuka, both of whom bring their expertise to make sure the project is well mastered. Their contributions ensure a polished sound.
