Zimbabwean comedian Learnmore Jonasi is back home to perform at Shoko Festival.

Fresh from his impressive fifth-place finish at America’s Got Talent, Jonasi will take the stage tomorrow night.

Jonasi’s journey on AGT showcased his comedic brilliance to a global audience, earning him a spot among the top five finalists.

Jonasi, who carried the hopes of Zimbabwe, fell short but can hold his head high after finishing in the Top 5 alongside Solange Kardinaly (Quick change artist), Sky Elements (Drone act), Roni Sagi & Rhythm (Dog act), and the eventual winner, Goodall.

He competed against a diverse group of acts, including Japanese dance group Airfootworks, Australian dance group Brent Street, vocal powerhouse Dee Dee Simon, amongst others.

This year’s Shoko Festival is themed #BothSidesOfSamora, highlighting the historical divide between different social classes in the North and South side of Samora.

The festival kicks off on September 26th with Shoko Comedy Night, featuring Jonasi as the headliner.

The following night, Mash Up Night will showcase over 15 acts, including South African rapper Nadia Nakai.
