Kae Chaps cancelled his participation in the upcoming Zim Link Up Event (Zambia) scheduled for tonight in Zambia, August 16, 2024. The decision comes after a series of unfortunate and unprofessional incidents involving the Zim Link Up Zambia team.

The Juzi hit maker was scheduled to perform alongside Zim Hip Hop sensation Holy Ten.

According to a statement released by Kae Chaps’ management, despite repeated assurances from the organizers, the artist and their team encountered significant hurdles in their travel arrangements. Initial promises of flight tickets being provided on Wednesday were followed by a series of postponements, leaving the group in limbo. Ultimately, they were instructed to proceed to the airport without confirmed travel plans.

The statement further highlights that subsequent claims of tickets being booked for Friday morning proved to be false. It is apparent to Kae Chaps and their team that there was no genuine effort made to facilitate their participation in the event, and their name was primarily used for promotional purposes.

This unprofessional conduct has deeply disappointed Kae Chaps and their management, and they have made it clear that there will be no future collaboration with Zim Link Up Zambia. They have also urged others to exercise caution when dealing with the organization.
